Job Summary: We seek an experienced Jira Administrator and Expert with knowledge of Azure DevOps and experience migrating projects from Azure DevOps to Jira. The candidate will optimize Jira setup, configure workflows, and facilitate seamless adoption across teams. Key Responsibilities: Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, and permissions. Create dashboards, filters, and reports aligned with business needs. Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to optimize Jira configurations. Automate workflows using Jira Automation, ScriptRunner, or similar tools. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Provide user training, documentation, and support for Jira adoption. Stay updated on Jira best practices, features, and plugins. Work with stakeholders to improve Jira as a project tracking tool. Integrate Jira with other tools like Confluence, Slack, GitHub, Bitbucket, or CI/CD pipelines. Lead the migration from Azure DevOps to Jira, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption for 2-3 teams in a larger Jira environment. Required Qualifications: 5+ years as a Jira Administrator or Consultant. Proven experience with Azure DevOps and ADO to Jira migrations. Strong knowledge of Jira Cloud or Data Center, workflows, and permissions. Experience with data mapping, ETL, Jira Migration Assistant, Configuration Manager, or scripts. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira Agile boards. Proficiency in JQL, dashboards, and reports. Experience with ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, or similar add-ons. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator (ACP-100) or equivalent. Experience with Confluence, Bitbucket, or other Atlassian tools. Familiarity with Jira and ADO REST APIs. Experience in regulated industries or enterprise environments.
