Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Corrections Location in Manson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This armed post requires professionalism and a commitment to putting people first, working collaboratively with your team, and always acting with integrity to support a positive environment for all individuals on site.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any security-related incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or violations of site policies.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to changing situations within the government facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Armed Security Professional License is preferred.
• Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
