The National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA) is a new non-profit established to help Americans make sense of crypto by sharing real stories of how it benefits everyday lives and guiding responsible adoption for the communities with the most to gain. The NCA will demystify crypto and serve as a resource for anyone and everyone using, holding, or wanting to learn more by giving a voice to the real people and businesses using crypto today while providing educational resources to navigate the hype and confusion and offering guidance and support. About You You are a curious and creative Social Media Manager that is a highly organized, strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social media trends, content creation, and community management. You have experience with or knowledge of crypto fundamentals and are generally aware of industry trends and relevant players. You are passionate about consumers and technology, and thrive autonomously while also collaborating with communications and marketing teams and agencies. With an eye for detail and a data-driven approach, you know how to take a social media strategy from concept to execution while staying true to the NCA’s voice and mission. Your ability to manage multiple projects, stay ahead of trends, and foster meaningful relationships will make you an asset to the team. You will help us amplify our message, engage our mainstream consumer audience, and drive meaningful discussions around crypto literacy. About The Role In this position, you will play a crucial role in shaping the digital presence of our organization. You will be involved in developing social media content strategies that resonate with our audience, focusing on educational campaigns that demystify cryptocurrency. As the Social Media Manager, you must be excited by social media and the emerging digital landscape, with proven experience managing social media programs for consumer brands. You thrive in a fast paced, ever-evolving, entrepreneurial environment, and feel at your best when project managing, communicating, and collaborating with external agencies. Responsibilities include: Be the voice of the NCA — Help drive the planning and execution of social media campaigns Build and execute NCA’s social media strategy Drive community engagement across our social media channels and our growing member base, including email communications and campaigns Review and schedule content across platforms such as X (including X spaces), LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Reddit and TikTok Monitor social media channels frequently and respond to comments and messages, and actively engage with followers to foster relationships and build community Track, analyze, respond to and report on social media engagement and performance metrics to inform strategy and improve campaigns Stay up-to-date on social media trends and memes, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand remains innovative and relevant Recommend amplification and engagement strategies for brand and executive channels Partner with external agencies to support brand initiatives and partnerships Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5-10 years of relevant social media experience in the finance and/or technology sectors Understanding of social media strategies and tactics for driving community engagement Technical understanding of the primary social platforms in the space Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred Passionate about consumer education, cryptocurrency and/or innovation Capacity to handle various competing tasks and assignments in a dynamic environment Excellent communication, project management, writing and grammar skills Flexible, responsive, objective and quick thinking Proactive, assertive, collaborative and resourceful with strong attention to detail Organized, positive, respectful and supportive Open to working flexible hours, as social media is always on Compensation $100,000 - $150,000. This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Please note that this range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range. NCA provides the salary range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and the location of the role.
